Never give up. No matter how hard the situation is, always believe that something beautiful is going to happen.

11.3.12 - Stacy London concluded her book tour in New York at the 92Y and opened with a story about the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. She talked about coming across an uprooted tree in Prospect Park, Brooklyn and while looking amidst the ugliness from the tragedy, a bright orange butterfly flew in and sat right on the rooted trunk. And as corny as it was, in that quick moment, one small beautiful thing made the ugliness seem insignificant. It was an an amazing, inspiring way to end what had been a really hard week for New York.

To feel like you have failed at something or to have something taken away from you and feel like you lost a part of yourself is what resonates when it comes to feeling undeserving of beauty—and that is not true. Stacy London Tuesday Sep 9 @ 08:36pm

I think Sarah has done an incredible job of keeping not just the fantasy and the dream of Alexander McQueen alive, I think that she understands tailoring in the same way. She really understands how fabric should perform in order to be flattering. Stacy London, on Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen Saturday Apr 4 @ 06:40pm

With other blog friends and online taste-makers, Keiko LynnLaura Ellner, Christine Cameron, and Nicolette Mason, five distinct denim outfits were created that is sure to fit any girl, on any budget, with any preferred type of denim. Can you guess which look I styled?

I have a tremendous amount of respect for Stacy London. She’s no high-profile celebrity or big-shot model, but she’s REAL and HONEST. And she GETS IT.

Never confuse fashion and style. Fashion relies on unattainable looks on women with unrealistic bodies. Style is about utilizing the best aspects of you. Stacy London (via corubai) Sunday Oct 10 @ 09:33pm
