11.3.12 - Stacy London concluded her book tour in New York at the 92Y and opened with a story about the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. She talked about coming across an uprooted tree in Prospect Park, Brooklyn and while looking amidst the ugliness from the tragedy, a bright orange butterfly flew in and sat right on the rooted trunk. And as corny as it was, in that quick moment, one small beautiful thing made the ugliness seem insignificant. It was an an amazing, inspiring way to end what had been a really hard week for New York.
Friday Jun 6 @ 12:41pmEarlier this month, I was asked to participate in StyleCaster’s 5 for 5 feature in collaboration with Bloomingdale’s to put together a denim inspired look for spring. With other blog friends and online taste-makers, Keiko Lynn, Laura Ellner, Christine Cameron, and Nicolette Mason, five distinct denim outfits were created that is sure to fit any girl, on any budget, with any preferred type of denim. Can you guess which look I styled?

Monday Mar 3 @ 12:01pmI have a tremendous amount of respect for Stacy London. She’s no high-profile celebrity or big-shot model, but she’s REAL and HONEST. And she GETS IT.
