New York City has a way of pushing us to the end of our limits. But at that edge and in that moment, where we thought we’d fall completely apart, the city also has a way of surprising us, lifting us, and inspiring us. I don’t really know what’s going on or what I’m doing. I don’t know exactly what will happen next. What I do know is that I’m still here. And I have a feeling I am finally where I need to me. When it rains, it pours. xxSG

Thank you Jessica Alba for the shout-out to SartorialGirl on the Flipboard interview! (Go to 4:15 in the video). I watched and screamed. Pretty crazy.
Monday Feb 2 @ 09:28am“Get used to failure—it’s a big part of life. I remember a Teri who would never get too down, even if we lost by 50. So now you’re losing by 50—did you think it would never happen? I don’t have any real advice for you: you can stay in your situation or you can quit—it’s really up to you. I personally think that the biggest thing you will learn as an adult is how to handle frustration and failure.” ~ G. Lippman, my coach to me

**The MORNING AFTER in the Hamptons with Rebecca Minkoff & StyleCaster**
I was so honored to be invited to the Stylecaster Southhamptons mansion a few days ago to spend some time with Rebecca Minkoff and some of my fellow NY bloggers. We had a blast! My favorite part of this event… (besides getting to wear RM from head to toe), was definitely Danielle, the Chef!! Her food is seriously out of this world!
Check out my instagrams above for some personal captures throughout the trip. And here.
Between the food and drinks and music and pool time and major social networking, we got to review RM’s Spring ‘12 collection and each put together a “Morning After” look for a sweet little contest between the bloggers. Check out our outfits, are we not the chicest walk-o-shamers or what? Now… the time has come for votes!!!!
From now until Wednesday (tomorrow), send in your vote for best “Morning After” style by clicking “LIKE” on your favorite picture at Rebecca Minkoff Facebook Page.
I never do anything like this… but if I win, one of my followers also gets a treat so I hope you vote for ME!! :)
Many thanks again to StyleCaster & the Rebecca Minkoff team for putting together a fantastic shindig!
xx,
Earlier this month, I was asked to participate in StyleCaster’s 5 for 5 feature in collaboration with Bloomingdale’s to put together a denim inspired look for spring. With other blog friends and online taste-makers, Keiko Lynn, Laura Ellner, Christine Cameron, and Nicolette Mason, five distinct denim outfits were created that is sure to fit any girl, on any budget, with any preferred type of denim. Can you guess which look I styled?
